In the park of the former abbey of Thiron-Gardais set in a wooded valley, the recently created gardens are inspired by the gardens and orchards that contributed to monastic life. The carefully preserved remains provide the setting for the medicinal plant garden, the floral cloister, the fruit-tree terrace and the garden of colours. During your walk, with a stop-off at the age-old lime-tree, you will rediscover the virtues of plants and appreciate the colours and scents.
