A variety of high-quality wines, the result of a longstanding tradition

Bourgueil, Chinon, Vouvray, Valençay, Reuilly, Menetou-Salon, Sancerre... Do these familiar-sounding names evoke something special for you? They are just some of the many wines of the Loire Valley; the region has so many others. Twenty-four AOCs are listed. These are all quality wines born of know-how and a longstanding winemaking tradition that has led to their renown. Closely linked to the history of France, viticulture in the Loire Valley began in the 5th century. It has not stopped developing ever since, gradually becoming enriched with the expertise of generations of winegrowers.
